L E R O Y   A N T H O N Y

  • Facilities Manager 

  • Many call him Mr. Fix-It or Mr. Finance

  • Came to CCH as a college student in 1969

  • Enjoys the flexibility of his job and getting to talk to all the students

  • Has been married to his wife Rhonda for 44 years and has two daughters and four grandchildren

  • Likes to ride his motorcycle and horses , mess around on the Internet, and go shooting in his free time

  • His advice for students is to study hard because if you don't do well in school, it takes a long time to get back from that

  • If he could be a superhero, Leroy would be Roy Rogers. "How cool is it to dress like he did? And he got to ride Trigger everywere."

  • CCH Women's Minister

  • Loves hanging out with all the girls at CCH and pretending to be in college without the classes, homework, or finals ("Suckaaaas!!" she says)

  • Serving her seventh year as a women's minister after the spot opened up as she was graduating Mizzou and living at CCH

  • Favorite and least favorite thing about the ministry is the people

  • Hobbies include eating bacon, bothering people, watching movies, reading and playing outside

  • Her advice to students is to dring more water

  • Her favorite verse is Psalm 46:5

  • If she was a super hero, she would be Thor because of his awsome hammer and really good hair

  • International Student Ministers at CCH

  • Linda considers herself a mom to the Central House boys

  • Joined the staff 4 years ago when David Sowers invited them to an international function and they got plugged in to CCH

  • Have been in the mission field for 38 years in Belgium and South Africa

  • Linda loves the friendships the ministry brings and leading people to the Lord

  • Her advice to students would be to simply love God, trust Him, and do what is right

  • The couple has four children: Heidi, Allen (currently in Taiwan), Brent, and one daughter who is with Jesus and would be 31 years old

  • Dennis and Linda describe their family as "WONDERFUL!"

D A V I D   S O W E R S

  • Overseer of International Ministry at CCH

  • Main role is teaching the Bible to international and American students

  • Began at the campus house in 2007 when Steve Hagemeyer and Lance Tamerius invited him to lunch and then on staff as an international minister

  • He loves the ministry because he has the great opportunity to share Christ with college students

  • He advises students to stay close to God and to never forget prayer time or to spend time fellowshipping with other Christians

  • David and his wife Brenda have four kids: Jonathan, who plans to work in computer programming, Becky, who is married with one little boy and six foster children, Maria, a senior at Central Christian College of the Bible, and Nathan, a junior at CCCB

  • One of David's favorite verses is John 3;16

  • If he could be a superhero, he would be Don Stoll

D O N    S T O L L

  • Minister to international students who converses with them about the life of Christs

  • Has been on staff since David Sowers invited him to minister to a student curious about the Bible

  • Loves this ministry because it gives him the opportunity to plant seeds of the Gospel of Christ in young people

  • He finds joy in doing what God asks in the Great Commission

  • His advice for students is to get involved

  • Believes the knowledge of the Song of god is the most important personal property you can have

  • His favorite hobby is reading (including magazines like Smithsonian and Christian Standard)

  • Has three children, 15 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren that get together every month as a family to celebrate birthdays

  • Don says if he could be a superhero, he "would love to be able to preach like Corey Whitaker"

L A N C E    T A M E R I U S

  • CCH director and Campus Minister

  • Heard about CCH from a pasotr in Hannibal

  • He lived there for three years as a student and interned for one year

  • This is his 12th year as CCH's director

  • Enjoys working in a ministry with a staff that inspires him and college students whom he can minister to the world with

  • When he is bored, he likes putting in his headphones and mowing some grass

  • Lance and his wife Pam have been married for 28 years, and they have five kids (three in college, one in high school, and one in elementary school) and 10 stupid cats

  • If Lance could be a superhero, he would be Captain America becuase he'd rather be a strong, good person and not a freak

L Y D I A    W E I D E M A N

  • Part-time Women's Minister and "Mom Away from Home" at CCH

  • Teaches Bible classes, mentors the widow's ministry, talks and builds relationships with students and oversees house jobs and Meals for Missions weekly

  • Came to CCH 7 years ago when the expansion of the main house resulted in a larger female population

  • Her greatest joys of this ministry include building relationships with the students and giving them a home-cooked meal

  • She advises students to take every opportunity to deepen their faith and grow deep spiritual roots

  • One of her favorite verses is Proverbs 3:5-6

  • She loves to play ping-pong and carroms and read

  • She and her husband Alan have been married for 32 years and have 3 children: Eric and Heidi, who have both lived at CCH, and Alex, who is in high school

  • Has attended Blue Ridge Christian Church for 14 years

W E L L S A N D

  • International Student Ministers

  • Want to create relationships with international students and ultimately teach them about God

  • Recently came to Missouri unexpectedly from China and have been at CCH since the fall of 2015

  • Enjoy being able to use what they learned in China in the states

  • Sarah would encourage international students to use the resources they have now as best they can because America is not always internationally friendly, and now is a time where these students can be surrounded by people who care about them

  • Have three boys--Keagan, 7, Ryker, 3, and Coy, 2 months

  • Love to play board games and be outdoors as a family

C O R E Y    W H I T A K E R

  • Campus Minister

  • Oversees life groups, leads mission trips, and speaks at the Well

  • Began working at CCH in 2000 after living there while attending Mizzou 

  • Became a Christian and met his wife Rebekah while living at CCH

  • Left Mizzou CCH to do campus ministry in at the University of Washington and came back in 2012

  • Loves this ministry because he gets to see lives changed for Christ

  • Reminds students that God is more important than school and that one should be a follower of Christ first and then a college student

  • Has been married to Rebekah for 16 years and have five kids: Grace, Justus, Harley, Glory, and Josey (whose ages range from 1st grade to a freshman in high school)

  • When asked who he would be if he could be a superhero, Corey says "How about Wolverine?"
